SAIC Software Engineer interview experience

United StatesPosted Aug 2019 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

I experienced a disappointing post-interview turnaround for a Software Engineer role where I initially thought I had momentum, but communication later flipped, with average difficulty and no offer.

Onsite interview followed by delay — after being told they’d reach out, weeks passed with little communication before I had to follow up.
Offer was later walked back — in one case the recruiter said a hiring decision had changed without notifying me; in another, I got a system rejection after a verbal offer and later tried to understand why it was rescinded. Outcome: No offer; the takeaway was that after verbal signals, follow-through and transparency were inconsistent.
