I interviewed for a SAIC Software Engineer role in a polite, professional process that leaned on fundamentals and communication more than hard coding, spread across two discussions.

Technical interview with team members — I answered questions about my resume and projects, plus job-relevant technical basics.
Management/lead conversation — I covered soft skills and behavioral topics, and we also discussed the company and expectations for the role. Outcome: No offer, but it felt consistently respectful—my resume alignment and ability to explain projects clearly were the deciding factors.
