El Segundo, CAPosted May 2026 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

I interviewed for the Software Engineer role through SAIC’s rotational program path, and it felt fairly light, with the whole process moving quickly over a short timeline.

Program-focused recruiter screen — I mainly talked through my background and interest in the rotational program; the interviewer started with behavioral questions to gauge fit.
Closing conversation (same thread as screen) — They confirmed my motivation and alignment with what the program offered rather than digging into deep technical topics. Outcome: No offer, but it was an easy, low-pressure way to evaluate whether I was a good match for the rotational track.
