I interviewed for a SAIC Software Engineer role in a process that went on but never concluded, and it felt average until it turned into a lack of follow-through.

Phone screening + in-person interview — I had an agency-driven screening and then an in-person meeting.
On-call / collaboration-focused probing — They repeatedly asked how I’d embed myself into a coworker’s work and hinted at being on call frequently.
No closure — After the interview, I didn’t hear back and ended up being ghosted. Outcome: No offer, and the takeaway was that expectations around availability and clear communication should be clarified early.
