I interviewed for a Software Engineer role in a multi-interviewer hiring event setup that was mostly behavioral and project discussion, with no technical questioning.

HR email exchange → hiring event — a brief HR back-and-forth led to an invite-only event; I followed up once after the scheduled email didn’t arrive.
Manager + technical lead + government team lead (all at once) — I was interviewed simultaneously by a project manager, a project technical lead, and a government team lead.
Behavioral + project conversation — we covered classic behavioral questions and talked through a project I’d been working on. Outcome: I didn’t receive an offer, and the takeaway was that they evaluated communication and project thinking more than coding
