My HR interview matched what I expected from a typical background screen, with questions about my education, work history, strengths and weaknesses, and what I wanted from my career.

The conversation also included behavioral prompts meant to check how I approached problem-solving, teamwork, and communication.

It didn’t feel especially difficult—more like a standard alignment conversation—but it was still a meaningful checkpoint because it forced me to articulate my reasoning and experience clearly. I didn’t end up with an offer, yet the HR stage felt consistent and geared toward understanding how I’d work rather than looking for obscure technical details.
