My process felt like a slog: I went through four rounds of interviews that were tedious.

I passed every coding round and finished them all with no rounds left, and when we got to system design I wrapped it up quickly enough that the interviewer said he didn’t have any other questions and we shifted to something else.

Even with that, I was still rejected. The experience left me feeling like they might not have been actively hiring and that the process could have been more about the motions than the final decision, which honestly made the whole time investment feel wasted.
