The process for me was mostly centered on a CodeSignal coding round.

I passed all the test cases in about half the time, so I felt good walking away. Then I waited and got ghosted for a week, only to be rejected afterward.

What stood out was the explanation: they weren’t satisfied with just having the tests pass, and they said the CodeSignal round wasn’t proctored or recorded, so it didn’t provide the coding signals they needed. The whole thing left me feeling like the outcome was determined by something beyond raw correctness.
