I went in knowing it was going to be a panel setup: there were four people, and they each asked their own mix of technical and non-technical questions.

The questions leaned toward basic C language topics, but they also seemed intent on gauging my attitude and personality—whether I sounded eager to join and how I presented myself.

The interview itself was quick, about 30 minutes. Afterward, I was told to wait, and then HR came back to say I wasn’t selected. Even though the questions weren’t overly advanced, the panel format and the short, controlled timing made it feel like they had a tight process and were deciding fast.
