I spoke with the hiring manager, and the interview felt very direct.

The questions were focused on the technical and social skills the hiring manager expected for the department, without a lot of extra framing or storytelling.

It didn’t drag on with small talk—the whole vibe was straightforward, like they wanted to quickly validate my fit against what the team needed. Because it was centered on skills rather than a puzzle or presentation, it felt like an average difficulty experience, and I didn’t get an offer.
