Bombardier Software Engineer interview experience

Before the Microsoft Teams interview, I was asked to create two short slide decks: one business proposal and one personal biography. Each set of slides then had to be presented live, with a tight time box—up to three minutes per presentation.

The format made the experience feel less like a conventional Q&A and more like an evaluation of how I communicate and structure a narrative quickly. It was difficult largely because the time limits meant I couldn’t over-explain, and I had to get my points across clearly under pressure. I didn’t end up with an offer.
