I went through an interview that felt more like a conversation than a gauntlet.

In my case, I started with a discussion of my past experience—both technical and the more human parts like how I handled training or other non-technical situations. The questions stayed grounded, often circling back to the same points I’d already included in my resume, and the overall vibe was friendly and low-stress.

Even when technical questions came up, they were broad rather than deep. I was asked about basic concepts and topics like previous experience details and fundamentals in areas such as HTML/CSS/JavaScript or software engineering knowledge, depending on the interviewer’s focus.
