Bombardier Software Engineer interview experience

Since it was an internal hire, the tone and experience felt a bit different than what I expected for an external applicant.

There weren’t any trick questions, and the overall conversation stayed pleasant. The interviewers’ main signals seemed to be looking for genuine enthusiasm and a mindset geared toward learning.

I didn’t receive an offer, but the process itself felt smooth and respectful. The honest reflection I had afterward was that the interview didn’t feel like a test I needed to outsmart—it felt more like a fit check for attitude and growth.
