Monroeville, PAPosted Oct 2013 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

I interviewed for engineering work in a process that leaned heavily on behavioral fit and explaining my background, and in one case included a quick facility tour.

Pseudo panel introduction — I met multiple hiring managers in a setup that felt like a panel; I relied on prior experience and prepared answers.
Interview with manager and peer engineer + facility tour — behavioral questions plus questions about why I was there and my experience; afterward I took a short tour to understand the production environment. Outcome: No offer; the takeaway was that interviewers prioritized communication, honesty, and relevant experience over technical grilling.
