Cheswick, PAPosted Nov 2017 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

I interviewed for Software Engineering and the journey was fairly HR-and-behavior oriented, focused on how I work under pressure and how I describe my engineering mindset.

Phone interview — about 30 minutes covering my education, background, and the position.
In-person interview (behavioral focus) — behavioral questions centered on stories of difficult situations, team-player behavior, and how I’d describe my “style” as an engineer.
HR-forward discussion — an interview with mostly HR questions and only a few prompts tied to experience, including questions about practical and travel background and problem-solving/team building. Outcome: No offer; I felt the process was generally fine, though I wasn’t confident one part of my background
