I interviewed for a Software Engineer role at Unity in an average multi-step journey that ended after a full month of effort.

Recruiter chat — background and interest discussion.
Hiring manager discussion — general JavaScript questions and conversation about working at Unity.
Codility technical test — three tasks that weren’t difficult.
Team interviews — multiple back-to-back interviews.
Decision — I was told I wasn’t offered because of insufficient experience, which surprised me given the junior-leaning difficulty. Outcome: I didn’t get an offer—despite junior-level technical content, the bar seemed to be higher on experience.
