I experienced a relatively easy Unity software engineer process built around a short Unity-based take-home with discussion and live edits, over about four rounds.

Recruiter/early screen — initial steps focused more on conversation skills and my past projects; no LeetCode.
Take-home test — I built a very simple Unity project.
Interview based on the take-home — I described my solution and then made live coded changes.
Final technical/fit rounds — continued discussion tied to how I approached the work, staying lightweight overall. Outcome: I didn’t move forward, but the tone was manageable and centered on explaining and iterating rather than hardcore algorithms.
