Houston, TXPosted Apr 2013 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

I interviewed on campus for the Consultant role at Spencer Ogden, and it felt extremely difficult and unprofessional, with the interaction leaning toward personal scrutiny rather than job discussion.

On-campus interview — Two interviewers were described as rude and pretentious; they asked insulting, personal questions unrelated to the job (for example, about what someone’s father does) and effectively treated it like an attack on character—pointing out flaws to see how I reacted. Outcome: I did not continue past the next step because I had no desire to work there, despite being told my responses impressed them and that most people struggle.
