London, EnglandPosted Jun 2026 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

I interviewed for a summer internship in London, and the whole first step felt quick and straightforward.

The initial conversation was basically a warm-up where I was asked the usual basics: why consulting, a bit about myself, and what I knew about the firm and what it does.

What stood out to me was how light the questions were compared to the later-style rounds I’ve done elsewhere. It didn’t feel like an intense test so much as a first check that I understood what the role involved and could communicate clearly.
