My first contact felt almost like they were trying to sweep me into a social setting—there was talk of taking me out to a party, and the communication style was persuasive.

I ended up speaking with a very persuasive commercial who really sold the company to me.

What surprised me was how little structure there seemed to be. There was no real planning described; it was basically an interview with their clients, driven by the idea of getting work moving rather than a formal selection process.

It didn’t lead to an offer, and the experience left me with the sense that the focus was commercial and immediate rather than careful screening. Looking back, the main impression was how fast it felt and how sales-oriented the conversation was.
