HII Software Engineer interview experience

• Prerecorded video interview — questions came from a system; I had a minute to gather thoughts, then had to start recording with about 3 minutes allotted per question, and many prompts were extremely basic.
• One-way recorded Q&A (self-paced retries) — I answered about 5–6 questions, recording my responses as the only interview step.

Outcome: No offer; the takeaway is that it’s a simple but high-timing-assessment format that can still lead to extended silence.
