I interviewed for a Software Engineer role where the recruiter screen came after a delay, followed by a merge request review and a live coding session.

Recruiter screen — a 30-minute Zoom call covering my background and why I was job hunting; I had been contacted about a month after applying.
Pre-work: MR review on GitLab — I reviewed a merge request, requested improvements, and expected to implement those changes live.
Live coding session — a 90-minute coding session in VueJS with unit tests in Jest; it went smoothly because I understood the MR’s purpose in the issue tracker.

Outcome: No offer; I focused too much on the issue tracker execution, which likely hurt broader problem framing.
