I experienced a mid-level difficulty Consultant process that combined online screening with multiple interviews across different seniorities.

Online interviews (1–2 rounds) — questions about my background, how I handle specific situations, and industry knowledge.
In-person interviews (several rounds) — additional conversations with varying levels of leadership, still focused on experience, situational responses, and domain understanding. Outcome: I didn’t get an offer; the takeaway was that consistency across background, scenarios, and industry competence was expected.
