I went through a Consultant interview path that started with HireVue-style video questions—short, timed, and motivation/fit focused—then moved into live behavioral and case-style steps.

HireVue video assessment — three pre-recorded questions with brief preparation and response time; focus on motivation, problem-solving, and teamwork.
HireVue video (single/2 questions variants) — answers to “why FTI” and role-specific motivation, sometimes tied to what consulting type or location I was interested in.
In-person/virtual behavioral + case — a live interview or round with behavioral questioning and typical case-study questions.
Next step (case-focused formats) — some paths included superday elements and case analysis after video screening. Outcome: Not
