I interviewed for a Software Engineer role in an average process that moved from screening to assessment to multiple recruiter checks.

Recruiter call — a short introductory call.
Test case — a qualifying test; the next step depended on passing it.
Recruiter interview (after passing) — a second chat with another recruiter.
Reference check — background verification.
Program manager interview — final interview with a program manager. Outcome: No offer; I didn’t reach the final decision, and in one instance I also never received a response after completing rounds.
