Milwaukee, WIPosted Jan 2026 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

I interviewed for a Software Engineer role with average difficulty, and the core felt like a practical conversation about how I would design, implement, and support systems.

Recruiter/technical discussion — lots of technical questions about design and implementation trade-offs.
Systems/process focus — they probed for how well I understood the system overall and the processes around development and support, looking for implementation and delivery capability. Outcome: No offer; I didn’t advance because the conversation emphasized both technical depth and execution/support mindset.
