I interviewed for a Software Engineer role that felt easy and straightforward, mainly centered on introductions and matching my background to the client’s needs.

Company/role overview call — they described what the company does across the relevant sectors and clarified the job responsibilities.
Discussion of my background — I talked about my education, projects, and skills as reflected on my resume.
Stack-focused Q&A — they asked general questions and questions related to my technology stack. Outcome: No offer; the experience was smooth and low-pressure, but my profile still didn’t convert into a final match.
