I experienced a three-round process where the visible coding tasks were manageable, but the extra requirements weren’t fully communicated.

Initial coding challenge — A first-round task that I was able to pass based on the problem description.
Take-home test — I completed the requested work, but the company expected additional steps not explicitly listed, such as security and testing.
Software design with the team — A later design discussion as part of the loop. Outcome: I didn’t get an offer; the main issue was that success depended on adding extra production-quality work beyond what was specified.
