I had early fit checks followed by case/business-knowledge style interviews, and in one instance the depth of industry questions went far beyond generic answers.

HR call for motivation — I started with a recruiter call about motivation.
Fit + case study — I then did a fit interview that included a case study.
VP conversation — I finished with a VP round focused on fit and/or case elements.
Industry-specific public sector deep dive (extra depth example) — In another similar path, I had to pitch my CV briefly, then go deep on public-sector trends and future outlook.

Outcome: I didn’t get an offer; when the questions required highly specific industry knowledge, generic answers weren’t enough.
