Posted May 2012 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

I experienced a longer, very thorough onsite process for Software Engineer—starting with a recruiter screen and a code test, then an onsite that involved deep technical probing across multiple seniority levels.

Recruiter screen — .NET and SQL screener questions.
Take-home or timed code test — a simple emailed coding task to be returned quickly.
Onsite (one-on-one across roles) — several hours of interviews mixing behavioral and technical questions with engineers, DBAs, and architects.
In-depth technical probing — senior engineers and architects asked detailed follow-ups to test depth and reasoning.
Panel at end of day — interviewers came together to evaluate on a final panel.
Onsite code test — additional coding assessment during the day. Outcome: No offer;
