I went through a longer, multi-round process where most of the emphasis was on how clearly I could explain what I’d done and whether I’d fit and learn quickly, culminating in HR.

Multiple technical rounds (including manager/client-style interviews) — I completed several technical interviews (including one with a hiring manager and others framed like client interviews) after an initial gate.
Onsite/f2f with HR — I had an in-person/f2f stage that included HR.
Focus on basics and deep explanation — Across this flow, the difficulty was described as average-to-difficult in terms of knowing fundamentals and articulating my prior work thoroughly.
Eagerness to learn — I was also encouraged to show motivation and willingness to ramp up.
