Act Digital Software Engineer interview experience

A recruiter reached out on LinkedIn saying my profile matched a role, and we scheduled an interview. Then, shortly after, the interview was canceled because the position had supposedly already been filled.

There wasn’t any deeper explanation or attempt to reschedule. The experience felt disrespectful, mostly because of how quickly the plan changed after I’d been engaged in the process.

I never progressed to a real interview journey beyond that disruption, and I ended without an offer. The main takeaway for me was that the process felt unreliable from the moment the scheduling didn’t hold.
