I interviewed for a Software Engineer role at Veolia and found the process frustrating due to heavy back-and-forth logistics.

Multiple recruiter interactions — I went through several social-network outreach messages followed by multiple long phone conversations.
In-person director interviews — The process required two trips into central Paris (no video call) and involved interviews with two technical-commercial directors. Outcome: No offer; the takeaway was that the logistics and apparent lack of effort on their side made the experience feel inefficient.
