I experienced an otherwise straightforward early process that ended with silence—after interviews and even positive signals, I was ultimately ghosted for the Software Engineer role.

Initial interview / recruiter contact — I received a message about an offer interest, but after I tried to follow up, I got no responses.
Interview with team lead (positive but then stalled) — In a similar situation, I had a long interview with a lead who said they wanted to work with me, but later they cited internal system changes and then stopped communicating. Outcome: I didn’t receive an offer; the takeaway was that even when early feedback felt good, I had to follow up because the process could still stall.
