Over about a month, I did a sequence of video interviews with five different people, each lasting roughly an hour on Zoom.

Alongside the conversations, I also completed a code test centered on shader work within the Unity engine.

The process was clearly technical throughout, since the shader code test aligned with the kind of engineering focus the team seemed to care about. The rounds with each person were consistent in length, and the structure helped keep expectations stable even while I was moving through multiple interviewers.

I didn’t end up with an offer. Still, the experience gave me a clearer sense of where the bar was set technically and that the team wanted depth beyond just a general discussion.
