I interviewed for a Software Engineer role with Unity after reaching out on LinkedIn; overall difficulty felt average, but the full loop ran long.

HR screen — a first call with HR to discuss my background and the role.
Engineer call — a second call focused on my fit for the engineering team.
Systems design interview — a dedicated design round covering architecture trade-offs.
Codebase review + PR review — I read through an existing codebase and then reviewed a pull request; this round felt the most interesting and different from the rest.
Outcome: No offer, but I left feeling positive—especially about the codebase/PR-style format.
