Unity Software Engineer interview experience

Even though it was interesting, it ended up being the longest interview process I’d experienced.

What bothered me most was the lack of transparency—at some point, they seemed to change the role I was interviewing for partway through. That shift made the work feel less aligned with a single, stable target.

I didn’t receive an offer, and the experience left me with the sense that the process was still evolving even while I was investing time. The assignment itself took effort, but the uncertainty around what I was being evaluated for made it harder than it needed to be.
