Toronto, ONPosted Mar 2022 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

I experienced Unity’s interview process as quick and competitive, typically finishing within a few weeks, with strong interviewer preparation and a mix of tech and fit.

Recruiter screening — initial role-fit and background discussion.
Hiring manager call — a conversation to align on my experience and motivation for the role.
Online Codility test — a written coding assessment before the live discussions.
Panel technical design session — working through a design problem with two engineers, with technical emphasis.
HR/recruiter follow-up — final discussion about offer details and timing.
Outcome: I didn’t get the offer, but the overall process felt smooth; interviewer enthusiasm and preparation stood out.
