I interviewed through a HackerRank pairing format, which combined pair-programming with a live meet.

The questions were described verbally, and when the interview required it, the interviewer typed directly into the interface so we weren’t fully guessing what the prompt formatting would look like.

The pacing felt comfortable—I didn’t feel rushed, and the interviewer was genuinely nice while I took time to work through the problems. Overall it felt like a calmer technical interaction than some of the more high-pressure coding sessions I’d experienced elsewhere. Even with that smooth experience, I didn’t end up progressing to an offer.
