My interview was short and pretty structured—about 25 minutes.

The first thing they asked was an introduction of myself, and then I went through the information from my resume in a focused way. The tone felt like they wanted to keep everything moving rather than wander.

The main question that stuck with me wasn’t just about my past; it was about planning my academic career. I was prompted to talk through my research plan and to think about applying for a master’s program. That emphasis made the interview feel less like a general screen and more like they were trying to understand how my future training aligned with the research path.
