The Ohio State University Research Analyst interview experience

I emailed my CV to the professor and didn’t hear back, so I went to his office with a hard copy of my CV and a short summary of my strengths. That led to me being hired initially as an hourly paid employee, and later I received funding.

In a similar spirit, the conversation that mattered most focused on what I’d done and what I wanted to achieve, along with questions about my education and project experience. It felt more like a quick fit check than a formal battery of behavioral prompts. Overall, it ended with me moving forward promptly once my qualifications and interests aligned.
