TCS Software Engineer interview experience

Got offer

Easy

Negative

Delhi CantonmentPosted Aug 2025 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

I went through a brief round that ended up being more about fit than deep technical screening.

It felt short and positive overall, and it helped me further for future job opportunities. I also got to the point where an offer was on the table, but I declined it because the salary was too low.

Even though the company name sounded big, the pay didn’t match what I was expecting. That mismatch was the main reason I didn’t move forward, even though the interaction itself felt smooth.

I didn’t accept the offer, and my honest reflection was that I appreciated the chance to interview and the momentum it gave me, but compensation still mattered more than the brand.
