My process ended up being very lightweight: I only had one interview, and it stayed focused on two technical questions.

The first was a simple JavaScript problem, and the second was about fixing a React bug.

I enjoyed the directness of it, and the whole thing felt low-stress compared to longer multi-round loops. When we were done, I felt like I’d gotten a chance to show both fundamental coding and practical debugging.

I didn’t end up with an offer, but I did feel like the conversation was fair and relevant to the role’s day-to-day work.
