I was contacted by HR to schedule an interview, and it quickly turned into a direct conversation with the hiring manager.

The call lasted about 45 minutes and was conversational rather than rigid. I remember feeling like I could talk through my experience naturally.

After that, I waited. The response came after about two weeks, and what stood out was that they ended up choosing a more specific profile—someone who had already worked with the same workflows. Even though the feedback wasn’t framed as harsh, it was clear they were looking for a very particular match.
