Seatgeek Software Engineer interview experience

The problem came with an extended window to work through it at my own pace, and the whole experience felt geared toward giving me time to think rather than performing live under pressure.

I didn’t end up with an offer, but the process still had a fairly calm rhythm compared to the faster, real-time formats I’d seen elsewhere. Looking back, the biggest thing I remember was how the email-based handoff shifted the interview from a strict conversation into something closer to a focused work session—and how that kind of environment made it easier to put structure around my solution.
