From the beginning, the process felt friendly and the people I spoke with came across as genuinely personable, like they were trying to learn who I was.

The interviews seemed to go okay and the conversations didn’t feel tense.

Even with that good tone, the hard part was what came after. I wasn’t given detailed feedback on why it wasn’t a match, so I was left guessing about what specifically didn’t land. The difficulty was average from my perspective—the topics were reasonable—but without that clarity it felt harder to understand how close I actually was to moving forward. Ultimately I was rejected, and I walked away feeling that the process was pleasant even if it didn’t end with much closure.
