Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories Software Engineer interview experience

Once I cleared that first screening, they notified me and scheduled a technical round, and both of those early interviews were done over the phone.

When I passed those telephonic steps, I was then invited to an onsite interview. That onsite phase combined technical evaluation with an additional presentation component, so it wasn’t just “answer questions”—I had to be ready to present work too.

I didn’t get an offer, and what stayed with me most was the structure: HR first, then technical by phone, then onsite where communication and presentation mattered alongside the technical assessment.
