Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories Software Engineer interview experience

The HR conversation focused on values, and I remember the interviewer steering back to how I think about those fundamentals rather than trying to jump straight into pure tech.

The technical side leaned on computer science basics, plus a handful of questions around computer networking. The pace was a bit more intensive than I expected, but the overall message was to stay grounded and not overthink every wording nuance. I left feeling like I understood what they were testing for, even though I didn’t end up getting an offer.
