Sterling Heights, MIPosted Oct 2020 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

My first contact was a phone screen with HR that covered application basics like work history, citizenship, and whether I could relocate.

After that, they asked some basic technical questions, even though it felt odd given that the conversation was HR-led.

Each call lasted about 30 minutes, which was shorter than what they suggested it might take. The main reason it likely moved faster felt like my answers weren’t satisfactory, and the feedback I got was extremely limited—essentially just a neutral acknowledgement rather than anything actionable.

I didn’t end up with an offer. Still, the process itself was straightforward and quick, just not very conversational on the technical side.
