My process lasted a full day, and it started with a tour of the company’s manufacturing facility.

That was a surprise in terms of how early it happened—before any deep technical discussion, I was walked through what the company does in practice.

After the tour, I gave a technical presentation. Then I went into two technical sessions, followed by a meeting with management.

It wasn’t a quick process, and the pacing made it feel like they were gathering both technical signal and broader context about how I’d operate in their environment. I didn’t receive an offer, but the full-day format and the mix of presentation, technical discussions, and management conversation made it feel thorough.
